Barabaka Production is currently developing FIREFLEYED — an original feature-length 3D animated film inspired by UKRAINIAN mythology, folklore and the kind of strange, emotional worlds we wish existed more often on screen.
The project is being developed inside the studio from the ground up: story, visual direction, production design, pipeline planning, 3D workflow and the creative system behind the film. We are not building “just another animated movie.” We are building a world — with its own rules, texture, atmosphere and production logic.
Barabaka may be a young company, but the people behind it bring more than 20 years of real CGI and animation experience. Our team has worked across animated series, feature-length productions, branded content, visual development and demanding production workflows — the kind of work where beautiful images are only the beginning. The real question is whether they can survive production.
That is why FIREFLEYED is being designed around our own Blender-based pipeline, developed and tested through multiple projects. The system allows us to control the process from early visual development to assets, animation, lighting, rendering and final delivery — while staying flexible enough for international co-production.
The project has already been presented at MIFA and attracted interest from industry professionals and potential partners. Co-production conversations are ongoing, and the door is still open for the right collaborators.
We are looking for co-producers, investors, studios and strategic partners who believe that European animation can be visually bold, emotionally strong and technically smart.
